What it shows

Every change to the law with its date and decree

The log is organized by publication day in the Diario Oficial de la Federación, newest first, and a single day can bundle several decrees. Each entry carries the DOF date, a summary of what was published, the actions it performed (reforman, adicionan, derogan, abrogan, expiden, modifican or actualizan, plus fe de erratas and clarifications, and Supreme Court rulings when they appear in the log) and the list of affected laws with their identifier, so you can open the full record of any of them. It answers in a minute whether anything changed in the period you care about, without reading the DOF day by day. The log is verified from 2022 onward and returns 50 decrees per page.

FAQ

Common questions

01Which years can I query?
Any four-digit year. Leave the field blank and you get the current one. The log is verified from 2022 onward; earlier years may come back incomplete.
02What do reforman, adicionan and derogan mean?
Reformar changes the wording of an article, adicionar adds new articles or sections, derogar strikes part of the law and abrogar repeals the whole law. A single decree usually does several of these at once.
03Can I read the text of the decree?
Here you get the date, the summary and the affected laws. For the full decree, open the affected law's record with its identifier: every reform is there with its official PDF.
04Is it free? Are there any limits?
Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is only a cap on lookups per hour from the same connection to prevent abuse, and each page returns up to 50 decrees. For volume, use the Croma API.
