The fine print of every federal law
A reglamento is not a law: the executive branch issues it to spell out how an existing law is applied, which is why almost all of them are named after the law they implement. The list holds the 135+ federal regulations in the official compilation, each with its full name, the date it was published in the DOF, links to the consolidated text in PDF and Word, a flag on the ones no longer in force, and its amendment history. That history labels the kind of each publication: the original, reforms, the annual updates to amounts and fees, fe de erratas, clarifications and validity provisions, each with its DOF date. The name filter is optional and the list returns 50 regulations per page.

- What is the difference between a law and a reglamento?
- Congress passes the law; the executive issues the reglamento to spell out how that law is applied. That is why almost all of them share the name of the law they implement, and why you find them by searching that name.
- What are the amount updates?
- They are the publications that adjust fees, rates and amounts without changing the substance of the regulation. They appear in the history alongside reforms, with their DOF date, so you can tell a figure update from a substantive change.
- Where do these regulations come from?
- From the official compilation kept by the Cámara de Diputados, the same one that publishes the consolidated text of federal instruments. Croma queries it on request and returns it as structured fields.
- Is it free? Are there any limits?
- Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is only a cap on lookups per hour from the same connection to prevent abuse, and each page returns up to 50 regulations. For volume, use the Croma API.
