What does the State know about the vehicle you insure?
Underwriting, claims, broker verification and litigation query records that already exist: RUNT, SIMIT, the SOAT at APESEG and SBS, RUES, the Rama Judicial. Croma delivers them as one API with the source behind every field.

Colombian vehicle by plate
Open the full toolFour questions an insurer asks the State
Before issuing a vehicle policy you need to know which vehicle it is: class, make, line, model, VIN, whether RUNT records a lien in favor of a bank and when the last SOAT expired. When the claim arrives, the question changes: whether the plate had a valid SOAT that day, which insurer issued it, how many accidents it has accumulated in five years according to SBS and which traffic tickets it carries in SIMIT. With brokers and insured businesses, whether they exist, who represents them and whether their registration is still active. And with the litigation portfolio, in which case the insurer appears as a party, before which court and which filing was published yesterday.
Croma answers each one from the official registry that produces it: RUNT and SIMIT by plate in Colombia; APESEG, SBS, SUTRAN and SAT de Lima by plate in Peru; RUES by NIT and SUNAT by RUC for businesses; the Rama Judicial by name or by radicado for court cases. Everything arrives as JSON with the same shape, with the source that produced it, ready for the underwriting engine or the adjuster.

What changes with the official record in the flow
Underwriting without declared data
The plate is enough to pull the RUNT record: class, model, VIN, liens and the SOAT and roadworthiness inspection history. The insured never retypes what the registry already knows.
Claims with the exact date
In Peru, APESEG says whether the SOAT was VIGENTE, VENCIDO or ANULADO and which company issued it; SBS adds up the accidents covered in the last five years. Two sources, one plate, no phone calls.
Litigation detected the day it is published
Cases where the insurer appears as a party are searched by name in the Rama Judicial and followed by radicado, in batch, with every new filing and the court that published it.
What the fraud and compliance team is going to ask
The records Croma queries are public: the vehicle record, the SOAT validity, the traffic tickets, the court cases. When the lookup identifies an individual, a claimant, a driver or a policyholder, Ley 1581 de 2012 in Colombia and Ley 29733 in Peru require a legitimate purpose; fraud prevention and claim settlement are purposes the insurer defines and supports, not the API. Croma returns the record exactly as the source publishes it, with its provenance, and answers found: false when there is nothing, so the claim file stays traceable. The API encrypts in transit, controls access by key and logs every request for audit.
Official sources only
Every answer names the official registry that produced it. Nothing comes from purchased databases or third-party summaries.
Results that are never indexed
In the free tools the query and the result live in your browser, never in a URL. In the API: encryption in transit, access control and audit logging.
Personal data, with rules
Lookups on individuals require a legitimate purpose under each country's law: Ley 1581 in Colombia, LFPDPPP in Mexico, Ley 29733 in Peru, LGPD in Brazil. Croma delivers the record; the purpose and the legal basis are yours.
A stable contract
Every field is documented in the OpenAPI, with a 90-day deprecation policy and Deprecation and Sunset headers before anything is retired.
