Learn about the case before the notice arrives
Past-due loans move through public records: a new case in the Rama Judicial, a reorganization in SICAAC, a lien in RUNT, a cédula cancelled at the Registraduría. Croma watches them against your portfolio and delivers the update, with the source behind it.

A collections team needs to know, for every debtor in the portfolio, whether an enforcement case against them appeared today, whether another creditor already sued, whether they entered reorganization or liquidation in SICAAC, whether the vehicle backing the loan has a lien in favor of another bank in RUNT and traffic tickets in SIMIT, and whether the cédula is still valid at the Registraduría or was cancelled due to death. Each answer changes the strategy: negotiate, sue, join the insolvency proceeding or write off. When the case already exists, the operational part is missing: which court handles it, what the 23-digit radicado is and which email receives the brief.
Croma Legal does that work against the debtor list: it reviews more than a hundred thousand cases a day in the Rama Judicial, TYBA and procedural publications, and detects every new filing within 24 hours. Banco Finandina runs it on its loan book; its Collections Director sums it up this way: the bank has saved hundreds of millions in just months with Croma. The other lookups, insolvency, vehicle collateral, cédula validity, use the same API key and the same structured response.
What this team queries, and in what order
- 01
Daily portfolio monitoring
Rama Judicial by radicado, by name and in batch, TYBA and procedural publications with Croma Legal; SICAAC for insolvencies; the Rama Judicial email directory to notify the court handling each case.

Who the debtor is today
RUES by NIT for the registration status and the current legal representative; Supersociedades for the reported figures; SUNAT by RUC in Peru. The business debtor as the registry sees it, not as it signed the promissory note.
See the solution - 03
Vehicle collateral
RUNT and SIMIT by plate in Colombia: liens, limitations, SOAT, roadworthiness inspection and traffic tickets. In Peru, SUTRAN, SAT de Lima with its capture orders, Callao and the SOAT at APESEG and SBS.

Cédula validity and lists
Registraduría by cédula: valid or cancelled due to death. Contaduría for the Boletín de Deudores Morosos del Estado, Procuraduría and Contraloría by document. Always with a legitimate purpose and on the identified debtor.

What changes with the official record in the flow
The update arrives, you do not go looking for it
You load the portfolio and receive each case's new filing the day it is published, with radicado, court and annotation. Nobody queries debtor by debtor again.
Insolvency as an early signal
SICAAC answers by NIT or cédula whether there is an open reorganization or liquidation. Knowing before the insolvency promoter's notice decides whether you join in time or arrive when the creditor ranking has already been settled.
Collateral with its real status
RUNT lists the liens with the creditor's name and the limitations on ownership; SIMIT, the pending traffic tickets and their amount. You know what backs the loan before collecting on it.
What the data protection officer is going to ask
A debtor's data is personal data, and Ley 1581 de 2012 requires every lookup to have a legitimate and proportional purpose: collecting a debt is a purpose the institution defines and documents. Croma queries the public record the official source publishes for that cédula, that NIT or that plate, and returns the result with its provenance, or found: false when there is nothing. The purpose, the data subject's authorization where it applies and the legal basis belong to the institution, as with any direct query to the source. The API encrypts in transit, controls access by key and logs every request for audit; in the free tools, the cédula you type is never stored in a URL.
Official sources only
Every answer names the official registry that produced it. Nothing comes from purchased databases or third-party summaries.
Results that are never indexed
In the free tools the query and the result live in your browser, never in a URL. In the API: encryption in transit, access control and audit logging.
Personal data, with rules
Lookups on individuals require a legitimate purpose under each country's law: Ley 1581 in Colombia, LFPDPPP in Mexico, Ley 29733 in Peru, LGPD in Brazil. Croma delivers the record; the purpose and the legal basis are yours.
A stable contract
Every field is documented in the OpenAPI, with a 90-day deprecation policy and Deprecation and Sunset headers before anything is retired.
