Complaints at the SuperfinancieraWhere does your filing stand?
Enter the filing number and the ID of whoever filed the complaint, and see every action in the proceeding before Colombia's financial regulator: date, who acted, what was done and which documents were attached. Free, no login.
The timeline of your complaint
When you file a complaint against a bank, an insurer, a fund or any supervised entity at Colombia's Superintendencia Financiera, the case gets a ten-digit filing number and every step is recorded as an action. This lookup returns that full history: the date of each action, the record id (the filing number plus the action's sequence), the party or office that acted, whether the complainant, the supervised entity or the adjudicating office, the action itself, for example an admission order or a transfer, and the documents and annexes attached to it. It answers where the case stands without a phone call, and it reconstructs the full chronology if the matter escalates or you need to show the date on which each step happened.
- Case timelineEvery action with its date and its record id within the filing.

Common questions
- 01What do I need to run the lookup?
- Two things: the ten-digit filing number issued when the complaint was submitted, and the ID or NIT of whoever filed it. One without the other returns nothing, because the filing number alone does not identify the complainant.
- 02Where does this information come from?
- From Colombia's Superintendencia Financiera, which records every action in the proceeding. Croma queries that source at the moment you search and returns the actions in order.
- 03Why are there no actions?
- Because the filing number and the ID do not belong to the same case, or because the complaint is recent enough that no action has been recorded yet. Check the filing number is exactly ten digits and that the ID belongs to the complainant, not the entity.
- 04Is it free? Are there any limits?
- Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is only a cap on lookups per hour from the same connection to prevent abuse, and one filing per lookup. To track many cases, use the Croma API.
