01Where does this information come from?
From SECOP, the Colombian state's public procurement platform. Croma queries that source on request and returns the contract structured, with its additions, guarantees and deliveries.
02Is it free? Are there any limits?
Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is only a cap on lookups per hour from the same connection to prevent abuse, and one contract per lookup. For volume, use the Croma API.
03Why does the contract I entered not show up?
Because no contract matches that identifier. Copy it in full and without spaces, in the CO1.PCCNTR. plus digits format. A process that was declared void or has not been awarded yet has no contract, so it has no such identifier.
04How is this different from the process identifier?
The contract is what gets signed and starts with CO1.PCCNTR. The process is the tender it came from and starts with CO1.NTC. If what you have is the process id, use the SECOP process lookup tool.
