What the SECOP is

The SECOP is the platform where state entities publish their procurement: from the bidding terms to the award, the contract, its amendments and its closeout. It also records the fines and sanctions imposed on contractors.

Croma queries processes by entity, contracts by contractor (cédula or NIT), the full record of a contract or a process, and the registered sanctions: the complete view of a person's or company's relationship with the state.

How fresh the data is

Croma queries the SECOP live at the moment of your search. Entities publish their processes and contracts as the contractual stages advance, so the information reflects whatever state the entity has recorded.

Coverage and limits

  • Covers the procurement published in SECOP II and in the official open-data feeds of state procurement.
  • Procurement predating each entity's adoption of SECOP II may exist only in SECOP I, with less detail.
  • Special and exempted procurement regimes publish with different scopes under their own rules.
