Common questions
- Where does this information come from?
- From SECOP II, Colombia's public procurement system run by Colombia Compra Eficiente. It is open transparency data: Croma queries the source and returns the processes structured.
- Is it free? Are there any limits?
- Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is a cap on lookups per minute from the same connection to prevent abuse, and each page returns up to 500 processes, newest first. For volume, use the Croma API.
- What does a truncated result mean?
- It means the page filled up with 500 processes and more may exist. Request the next page to keep going, or narrow the date range with From and To to work period by period.
- Why are no processes showing for the entity I searched?
- Check that the NIT is typed correctly, without dots or the verification digit. The entity may also publish under a different NIT, for example that of a specific department or fund, or your date range may not cover any publication.
