H-1B LCA lookup

What did DOL decide on this case?

Enter an LCA case number and see DOL's decision with the employer, the job, the offered and prevailing wage, and every worksite. Free, no signup.

DOL's case number, e.g. I-200-12345-678901, or I-12345-1234567 for older cases.

One application as DOL published it

The lookup returns everything the Department of Labor publishes for one Labor Condition Application: the status and decision date, the visa class, the employer with its address and FEIN (published from fiscal year 2024), the employer's contact, the job title and SOC occupation, the employment dates, the number of workers and why they are requested (new employment, continuation, change of employer), the offered and prevailing wage, the attorney and law firm, whether the employer is H-1B dependent or a willful violator, and every worksite with the workers placed there and the wage offered there. A certification the employer later withdrew appears once for each fiscal year DOL decided it, newest first. The case number is DOL's own, printed on the certified application.

  • Decision and dates

Certified, withdrawn, denied or otherwise, with the dates received, decided and first certified.

  • Employer, job and wage

The employer and its FEIN, the job and occupation code, the offered wage and the prevailing wage level.

  • Every worksite

Each place the worker may work, the workers placed there, any client company and the wage there.

Common questions

From the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Foreign Labor Certification, which publishes every Labor Condition Application it decides. DOL releases its disclosure data each quarter; Croma keeps an organized copy, checks for a new release every day, and returns it structured, free and with no account. There is only a cap on searches per hour from the same connection.

DOL has not published a decision under it. It publishes decided cases once a quarter, so a case decided in recent weeks arrives with the next release, and a pending case is never published. Check the letter and digits too: an LCA number starts with I.

DOL certified the application and the employer later withdrew it, often because the hire did not go ahead or the job changed. The case then shows two determinations, the certification and the withdrawal, each under the fiscal year DOL recorded it.

No. The Labor Condition Application is the first step: DOL certifies the employer's wage and working condition promises. The H-1B petition itself is decided later by USCIS, and that decision is not in this data. Many certified applications never turn into an H-1B worker, and one application can cover several positions.
