One lien with every filing

The lookup resolves a lien from its own number or from the number of any later filing on it, such as an amendment, continuation, assignment or release. It returns the lien's status, type, first and latest filing dates and lapse date, every filing number, and each filing in order with the date the Secretary of the State accepted it, its page count, the debtors and secured parties it lists with their addresses, and a copy of the filing's document when the Secretary publishes one. Common questions

From the Connecticut Secretary of the State, which publishes its UCC and lien records for anyone to use. Croma keeps an organized copy, brings it up to date every day, and returns it structured, free and with no account. There is only a cap on searches per hour from the same connection.

The lien's own number or any later filing's. Connecticut writes filing numbers with ten characters, zeros first, and the leading zeros can be left out.

Either the number is not on record, or the lien lapsed, was released or was terminated more than a year ago and has dropped out of the register. A filing made in the last day arrives with the next daily update.

That the register records no lapse date for the lien, as with some tax and judgment liens. A UCC financing statement usually lapses five years after filing unless a continuation is filed.
