Colorado liens searchable by the debtor's name

The search covers the debtors listed on the UCC and lien filings the Colorado Secretary of State has recorded since 1966, in any status: financing statements that secure a loan or a lease on a debtor's assets, and federal tax, hospital and other statutory liens. Debtors are businesses and people, listed with the name and address the filer wrote. Each match shows the filing that lists the debtor and the lien it belongs to: the initial filing number, the kind of lien, when it was filed, how many filings it has, its lapse date and whether it is still in force. It is a starting point for credit and lien due diligence: open any lien by its filing number to see the secured parties and the collateral.

Yes. Filings list people as debtors too, such as sole proprietors and borrowers, with the address the filer wrote. Type both names. Filers spell names in different ways, and a matching name alone does not show it is the same person, so compare the address and the filing before relying on a result.

Croma works it out when you search, from the lien's own filings: no once a filing terminated the lien or its lapse date has passed, yes while neither has happened. It is blank when the lien has no lapse date and no termination, as with most federal tax and hospital liens.

Every UCC and lien filing the Colorado Secretary of State has recorded since 1966: financing statements and their amendments, continuations and terminations, plus federal tax, hospital and other statutory liens. Lapsed and terminated liens stay in the results, marked as such.
