Search by name across the regulatory catalog published by Mexico's Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores: type of instrument, regulated sectors, publication date in the DOF and the official PDF. Free, no login.
The rulebook the CNBV enforces
The search covers the current regulatory catalog the CNBV keeps published: around 113 instruments spanning laws, disposiciones de carácter general (including the Circular Única de Bancos), circulars, acuerdos and reglas. Each one comes back with its full name, the type of instrument, the sectors it applies to (banca múltiple, casas de bolsa, sofipos, uniones de crédito and others), its publication date in the Diario Oficial de la Federación and a link to the official PDF. Instruments that have been reformed also carry an identifier you can use to open their full change history. This is primary regulatory material, not an interpretation of it: it helps you find the applicable instrument fast and work from the official text.

Common questions
- 01Where does this information come from?
- From the regulatory catalog published by Mexico's Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores. Croma queries that source and returns the list structured, with a link to each instrument's official PDF.
- 02Is everything listed here in force?
- The catalog reflects what the CNBV has published as current at the time of the query, but on its own it does not flag later repeals or reforms. Before citing an instrument, check its official PDF and its amendment history.
- 03Can I search for an article or a phrase inside the text?
- No. The filter matches the name of the instrument, not its contents. To reach the articles, open the official PDF attached to each result.
- 04Is it free? Are there any limits?
- Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is only a cap on lookups per hour from the same connection, and results are paged 50 at a time. For volume, or to wire it into a compliance workflow, use the Croma API.
