Trade history by NIT

Does this company import or export?

Enter a Colombian company's NIT and see, year by year since 2017, how much it imported and exported according to DIAN's directories: value, net weight, declarations and tariff codes. Free, no login.

Digits only, without the verification digit. 4 to 15 digits.

The trade history behind the NIT

The lookup gathers a company's rows across every importers and exporters directory DIAN has published since 2017. For each year it appears, you see its rank in the directory, the CIF value of its imports or the FOB value of its exports in US dollars, net weight, number of declarations and the five tariff codes it moved most. Use it to confirm a supplier or a customer has real foreign trade activity, see how it grew or shrank, and know which products it moves before you negotiate, extend credit or sign.

  • Imports by year

CIF value in US dollars, net weight, declarations and rank in the importers directory.

  • Exports by year

FOB value in US dollars, net weight, items and rank in the exporters directory.

  • What it moves

The five main tariff codes of each year, for imports and for exports.

Common questions

From the importers and exporters directories that DIAN, Colombia's tax and customs authority, has published since 2017. Croma organizes them by NIT, checks for updates every week and returns a company's history in one lookup, free and without an account.

Because the company appears in no importers or exporters directory since 2017, or the number is mistyped. Enter it without dots, dashes or the verification digit (for example 860007538). Individuals cannot be found by NIT: DIAN does not publish their ID.

Because it only imported, or only exported, in those years. Each directory lists the companies that filed that kind of declaration, so a company can be in one, the other or both.

For imports, DIAN counts the import declarations the company filed. For exports it counts registros, the series or items across its export declarations, which is not the number of declarations.
