What the BDUA affiliation check is

The BDUA is the official database that consolidates who is affiliated to Colombia's health system: the entity (EPS) reporting the affiliation, the regime (contributivo or subsidiado), the status, the dates and the affiliate type. The data is reported by the EPS and the insuring entities, and ADRES validates and reflects it.

How fresh the data is

Croma queries the BDUA live at the moment of your search. The result reflects what the EPS have reported and ADRES has incorporated up to that moment.

Coverage and limits

The check reflects what the EPS report; status or data updates depend on the EPS, not ADRES.
A termination date of 31/12/2999 means the affiliation is still active with the entity.
It covers health-system affiliation; it does not include medical history, contributions or other social-security branches.
