SCJN tesis search now answers from the whole corpus

POST /mx/scjn/tesis-search/v1 now answers over the whole corpus of Mexico's Supreme Court: every tesis and jurisprudencia the Semanario Judicial de la Federación has published since 1911, over 300,000, each in full, complete and kept up to date. The search keeps its request fields and gains the ones browse introduced: instance, court, formation, published_from, published_to and updated_after. query is now optional, so a filter-only call works.

Every result is the full record, the same shape POST /mx/scjn/tesis/v1 answers with: the text with its sections, the precedents, how the criterion was formed, and the publication and binding dates. Results come newest first, pages take up to 50, and every response carries as_of, how current the data is.

What changed in the response#

• results[] entries are full records. The snippets fragments and the top-level year are gone; the year sits in location.year.
• facets is gone. Filter values read exactly as they appear in results: instance, court, formation and subjects.
• The response adds as_of and echoes the applied filters.
• With query, every word must appear in the title or the text.

Browse is deprecated#

POST /mx/scjn/tesis-browse/v1 did the same job under another name. It is deprecated as of 7 September 2026 and stops answering on 15 December 2026. Until then it keeps working unchanged, and every response carries the Deprecation and Sunset headers and a Link with rel="successor-version", as the versioning policy describes. To migrate, change the path: the request and the response are the same, and the search accepts up to 50 results per page instead of 20.
