The Connecticut register in every status

The search covers the business register the Connecticut Secretary of the State keeps: about 1.3 million businesses formed in Connecticut or registered to do business there, including LLCs, stock and nonstock corporations and limited partnerships, active or not. Dissolved, forfeited, withdrawn and revoked businesses stay on the register with their status. Each result carries the account number, the status, the business type, the registration date, whether it is domestic or foreign, where it was formed, the business and mailing addresses, the annual report due date, the NAICS industry code when reported and the answers to the Secretary's ownership survey. Common questions

Dissolved means the business ended, by its own filing or by the state. Forfeited usually means the Secretary of the State ended its authority after it failed to file annual reports or keep a registered agent. Both stay on the register with the date, and the reason when recorded.

The Secretary rebuilds the register every day and Croma brings its copy up to date every week, so a filing made in the last few days may not show yet. Every response states how current the data is.
