Some sources only answer to a signed-in person. SUNARP, Peru's public registries, is one: it asks for a DNI. Starting today you can query it through Croma with your own account, registered once as a connection.
Two new endpoints#
- Registry search (
/pe/sunarp/registry-search/v1): an office (for exampleLIMA), a registry (real estate, vehicles, companies, mining, vessels, aircraft and more) and a partida, plate or ficha number. - Registry entry (
/pe/sunarp/registry-entry/v1): a partida's inscriptions with their act, date and title, and every page as a PDF, kept by Croma.
How it works#
Register the connection once:
curl https://api.croma.run/pe/sunarp/connections/v1 \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CROMA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"document_number": "12345678", "check_digit": "1", "issue_date": "2020-01-01", "authorized": true}'Then query with nothing extra:
curl https://api.croma.run/pe/sunarp/registry-search/v1 \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $CROMA_API_KEY" \
-H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"office": "LIMA", "registry_area": "vehicles", "search_by": "plate", "number": "ABC123"}'Automatic rotation#
SUNARP allows five sign-ins a day per DNI. Croma keeps the session open between queries, and if you register more than one connection, it rotates between them:
Each account handles one query at a time, so it never signs in twice in parallel; different accounts do work at the same time. Answers are kept for 30 days: a repeated question does not go back to the source.
Your credentials#
- They are encrypted as soon as they arrive and bound to your organization.
- Only the isolated service that signs in to the source can open them.
- The API never returns them; you only see a masked name.
- Deleting a connection destroys it permanently.
From an agent too#
The MCP server has sunarp_connect, sunarp_list_connections and sunarp_delete_connection: an agent can connect your account in conversation, with your consent, and then query.
The full flow, with diagrams, is in Connections, and each endpoint's fields in the SUNARP guide.
