What it shows

Colombian legislation as structured data

Each match comes back as a summary with separate fields: the norm's identifier, its full title and short title, the type (ley, decreto, resolución, circular), the publication date, the status, the jurisdiction, the article count and the piece of the title that matched what you typed. You can search Colombian legislation by keyword, or leave the text empty and filter by year, type or status alone. For a legal or compliance team that means locating and citing the right norm in seconds, without opening ten tabs. The source is Legalize.

FAQ

Common questions

01Where do these norms come from?
From Legalize, a repository of Colombian legislation. Croma queries that source and returns each norm split into fields, ready to read or to cite.
02Is it free? Are there any limits?
Yes, it is free and needs no account. There is only a cap on lookups per hour from the same connection to prevent abuse, and each page returns up to 100 norms. For volume, use the Croma API.
03Why does my search return nothing?
Usually because the filters are too tight or the term does not appear in any norm's title. Drop the year, the type or the status and use fewer words. Every field is optional: submit the form empty and you get the first page with no filters.
04Can I read a norm's full text?
Here you see each norm's summary along with its identifier. Use that identifier in the single-law lookup tool, which returns the full text article by article.
