# Pricing Croma

One balance of credits per organization. A live request costs 10 credits, a dataset request 1. Every plan includes the full catalog, the MCP server and the console.

| | Free | Hobby | Standard | Contract |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| | Free | $20 / month | $99 / month | Custom |
| credits / month | 5,000 | 20,000 | 100,000 | Your monthly credits |
| live requests | 500 | 2,000 | 10,000 | |
| dataset requests | 5,000 | 20,000 | 100,000 | |

Higher volumes, invoicing, or terms of your own. Same API, same console, your number.

## How credits work

Every request spends credits according to what it costs to serve. Two kinds of request, one balance.

- **Live request · 10 credits**: A country or global endpoint that queries the official source when you call it. Judicial cases, company registries, vehicle records, background checks, web search and extraction.
- **Dataset request · 1 credit**: An endpoint answered from Croma's own tables, refreshed on a schedule: procurement, regulations, gazettes, case law. Its guide says so, and it answers in milliseconds.

## The rules, all of them

- Credits reset on your plan's monthly date. Unused credits do not carry over.
- Batch requests spend per item: a 10-item batch of live requests spends 100 credits.
- A request that fails spends nothing. A cached answer spends the same as a fresh one.
- When the credits are spent, requests answer 402 until the reset or until you upgrade. Nothing is charged beyond the plan.
- Web search, extraction and research keep their hourly ceilings on every plan; they protect the sources, not the wallet.
- Your balance is on the console and in the X-RateLimit headers of every response, so your code sees the same number you do.

## Changing plans

Upgrades apply immediately and are prorated. Downgrades take effect at the end of the period. Cancel any time from the billing portal; the organization moves to Free when the period ends.

Payments run on Stripe. Prices are in US dollars; taxes are added at checkout where they apply.

Start on Free with no card, and upgrade from the console when you need more. https://platform.usecroma.com
