# How to connect Croma to Claude

Everyone is using Claude for their day to day. Documents, emails, presentations and automations.

But Claude can be much better. By default it only connects to your tools and to the internet. It has no access to government data, like company registries, court dockets, sanctions lists or what a company reports to the SEC.

Those are the same records a lawyer, an investor, a finance professional or a compliance officer needs every day.

Today we show you how to connect Croma to Claude and give it access to more than 200 connections with government data.

## What Croma is

Croma is the connector between Claude and government data. You connect it and Claude gets access to more than 80 official sources across six countries. The United States, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and El Salvador. Companies, court dockets, sanctions, public procurement, financial statements and laws, all of them [here](/mcp).

You do not need to know which source you need. You ask in plain English, Claude picks one, queries it and tells you where the answer came from.

## Step 1: create your account

Create your account at [platform.usecroma.com/sign-up](https://platform.usecroma.com/sign-up). You land on the free plan automatically, which is more than enough to try it out.

## Step 2: accept the terms

Accept the terms and conditions in the MCP section of the [dashboard](https://platform.usecroma.com/sign-in). That is where Croma hands you the details you need for the connection.

## Step 3: add the connector

Sign in to Claude and click this button.

As soon as you click the button above, the connection form opens already filled in. That is it, from there it is a matter of connecting and authenticating. Follow the recording below to see the steps in case the form did not open, and use these two values.

## Step 4: authorize

Click *Connect* and a Croma screen opens. Hit *Allow* and Claude gets permission to query with your account.

## Step 5: try it

In a new chat.

If it answers with Space Exploration Technologies and what it raised in each round, you are done. If you do not see the tools, open another chat.
