The full step by step is here, to follow along live or repeat afterwards at your own pace. ## The problem Investment banking and legal teams lose hours assembling the information before they can analyse it. Downloading a PDF, copying a balance sheet, retyping a company record, checking the figure pasted correctly. Those are hours that do not go into analysis, they go into mechanical work of little value. ## The solution Connect your assistant, whether that is Claude, ChatGPT or whichever you use, to two things. Croma gives it access to all of government data, Composio opens better connections to the apps you already use. ### Croma Croma connects your assistant to government data. One connection and it queries RUES and Supersociedades in Colombia, SEC filings and OFAC sanctions in the United States, CGU debarments and PGFN federal tax debt in Brazil, the DOF and the CNBV in Mexico, and on through more than 80 official sources across six countries. Every figure arrives with its source and its date, so you can check it. ### Composio Composio connects it to the tools you already work in, from Gmail and Calendar to Drive and more than 1,000 applications. And its connectors are far more powerful than the ones Claude and ChatGPT ship with. Five minutes, and the free plan covers the whole workshop. To check it worked, open a new chat and type this. ```text Busca el NIT 900843898 en RUES y dime si está activa ``` If it answers with Rappi S.A.S., active in the Bogotá chamber, you are set. ## Step 2: six queries to start with Six prompts to copy and paste. They all use the same company, Rappi. The first time your assistant uses a source it asks for permission. Accept it and let it work. ### 1. Who the company is RUES is the commercial register. It tells you whether the company exists, whether it is current and who represents it. **Prompt: the register record** ```text Busca el NIT 900843898 en RUES y dame una ficha de la empresa: estado del registro, cámara, actividad, fecha de constitución, última renovación y representantes legales. ``` You will see Rappi S.A.S., active in the Bogotá chamber, incorporated in April 2015, filed under software development, renewed in March 2026, with seven legal representatives on record. ### 2. What it is worth and how it is doing Supersociedades holds up to ten years of income statement, balance sheet and cash flow, as the company filed them. **Prompt: ten years in a dashboard** ```text Trae los estados financieros de Rappi, NIT 900843898, de Supersociedades. Dame ingresos, utilidad neta, patrimonio y margen bruto por año en una tabla, en millones de pesos, y ármame un mini dashboard con esas cifras y una gráfica de ingresos y utilidad por año. ``` You will see a company that went from COP 6 billion in 2016 to 767 billion in 2025, that lost money in eight of those ten years, that ran on negative equity in 2019, 2020 and 2021, and that turned its first profit in 2024. **Prompt: compare it with another** ```text Compara a Rappi, NIT 900843898, con D1, NIT 900276962. Margen bruto, crecimiento de ingresos y rotación de inventario en los últimos tres años. Dime en qué se parecen y en qué no. ``` Two Colombian businesses with opposite economics. Rappi runs on an 84% gross margin and holds almost no inventory, because what it sells is software and logistics. D1 runs on 19% and turns its inventory 5.7 times a year, because what it sells sits on a shelf. Neither number is better than the other. This is where the work stops being data collection and starts being judgement. ### 3. Who owns it Along with the financial statements, Supersociedades receives the shareholding and the control roles. **Prompt: shareholders and control** ```text Dime quién es el dueño de Rappi, NIT 900843898, según lo que radicó en Supersociedades: accionistas, porcentaje de participación, país y quién firma como revisor fiscal. ``` A single shareholder, Rappi Inc, domiciled in the United States, holding 100% of the 1,800,618 shares. At that point the question stops being a Colombian one. ### 4. The parent, in Delaware The Delaware register answers for the company that sits above the operation. **Prompt: the parent company** ```text Busca Rappi en el registro de Delaware y dame el detalle de Rappi, Inc.: número de expediente, fecha de constitución, tipo de sociedad y agente registrado. ``` Seven matches, among them Rappi, Inc., Rappi USA, Inc. and Rappi Connect, LLC. The first is file 5966994, a Delaware corporation filed on 17 February 2016, with United Corporate Services as its registered agent in Dover. Two queries and you have the whole chain, from the Colombian operation to the company that controls it. ### 5. The namesakes, in Florida Florida publishes companies with their officers, their registered agent and their annual reports. It also publishes everyone with a similar name. **Prompt: search by name** ```text Busca en el registro de Florida las empresas cuyo nombre contenga Rappi y dime cuáles están activas, con su tipo de sociedad y su agente registrado. ``` Seventeen matches, and almost none has anything to do with Rappi. There is a Rappi Transport LLC, a Rappi Colombian Food Inc and an investment vehicle called Soma Capital Rappi SPV (GP), LLC. A register searches by name, not by company. ### 6. The operating footprint, in Mexico SIEM records establishments by state and by chamber, so it shows where a company actually operates. **Prompt: establishments by state** ```text Busca Cemex en el SIEM de México y dime en cuántos estados tiene establecimientos registrados, con la cámara de cada uno, en una tabla. ``` Twenty-nine establishments, across Jalisco, Sonora, Hidalgo and San Luis Potosí among others, most of them registered with the Cámara Nacional del Cemento. The example changes company here on purpose. Rappi does not appear in SIEM, and that is an answer too: not every company is in every register. ## Step 3: email it with Composio An analysis that stays in the chat is no use to anyone else. The last step is sending it to your team. [Composio](https://composio.dev/for-you) is the bridge that connects Gmail to your assistant. One connection reaches more than 1,000 applications. 1. Create your free account at [dashboard.composio.dev](https://dashboard.composio.dev/login), find Gmail and click *Connect*. 2. In Claude go to [Customize → Connectors](https://claude.ai/customize/connectors), click *+* then *Add custom connector*. In ChatGPT it is the *+* menu in the chat, under *Apps*. With the same connection you verify companies before signing, screen counterparties against sanctions lists, follow a company's court cases, check its record as a state contractor and watch the regulatory changes that affect it.
